Weekend shopping Haul!

This weekend was spent with my bestie jo doing some good ol fashioned christmas shopping. It was a great day....and we were literally fighting through the crowds to get things done. People go a little crazy around this time haha! No shopping trip would be complete without getting a few things for myself...but i did try to keep it to a minimum i promise!
In a recent post i blogged about my love for moroccan hair oil and i thought it might be time to give some of their other products a go. Rather than wading in and buying big bottles of everything and regretting it i took it steady with this mini kit below.

So for £33.75 i got a shampoo, conditioner, intensive hair masque, moroccan oil and another moroccan oil in a sample bottle. I think thats a lot of product for my money as the small moroccan oil in the box shown costs £12.75 alone.

I absolutely cant wait to try them and will be posting a review soon!

On to the good stuff....Make Up! As everybody knows when it comes to foundation im a complete Lancome girl through and through. Over the years I've used pretty much most of them including Teint Idole, Teint Miracle and now im trying Photogenic Lumessence.
This is meant to make your skin look smooth, fresh, soften any lines and imperfections to give you....a photogenic finish im guessing. Having read a few rave reviews on makeup alley i thought why not!

At first glance when i swatched it on the back of my hand it did glide on fabulously and seems to be a thicker consistency than Teint Miracle so offers more coverage. Ill be reviewing this product for sure very soon so keep an eye out for that.x

Hair crazy right now!

I feel like i spend so much time focusing on my face with all my make up products and creams that i quite often forget my locks! My hair is quite long and this evil cold weather is not doing it any good. It is in need of some serious pampering so i decided to buy some expensive shampoo instead of my usual pantene etc. I picked Kerastase as shown above, I've heard a lot of fabulous things about it so thought it couldn't hurt trying!
Each bottle for a shampoo and conditioner was about £13.50 each. The conditioner is called a milk and is very thin compared with normal conditioners. Dont be fooled by this...it was amazing it has made my hair truly soft, shiny, bouncy and manageable!
I love these products...the shampoo is lovely and creamy and your hair feels so so clean after shampooing. I love that after conditioning my hair is left light and soft without any weight. I hate conditioners that just make your hair feel heavy and lank!
I know these aren't cheap but i really would recommend them if you fancy treating yourself as you wont be left disappointed. I will be repurchasing for sure.x

Under Eye Concealer

I've been asked to do a post on under eye concealer so here goes girlies. I like most asian girls do have darker circles under my eyes that i always conceal to achieve that fresh faced look. I have tried many different products over the year ranging from drugstore to high end brands and this is my firm favourite. Its Maybellines Super Stay 24 hour concealer in Medium Beige.

Swatch.

Blended in.

Ok so it looks a little dark while blended on my hand but on my face its mixed with foundation and just is the perfect match.
Its about £5 and i cant rave about it enough. It is smooth and easy to work with, i blend it with my finger tips. If you are finding it hard to cover your under eye circles id give this a go for sure.x

Make Up Store Haul! Eyes

This has to be one of my most exciting hauls in ages! I had a weekend in London recently and i couldn't wait to go to the Make up Store on Carnaby street. I have been before but not for a while. So here are the beautiful eye colours i came out with.
A gorgeous mix of browns and creams. As most people have figured out im a major browns and neutrals lover. I just think they can be used in so many ways to create fab looks on asian skin tones.

The colours swatched.

The pictures below are here so you can pair them up below to see which colour is called what...in case you want to buy them. I would recommend them to anybody.

These eyeshadows were £11 each i think. They are huge pots really so plenty of colour for you money, each shadow is so smooth, highly pigmented and easily blendable. I also love the shimmer in them, its pure shimmer and certainly not glitter i must add. Im afraid i cant even pick a favourite amongst these as i love them all so much.
If anybody is in London and reading this or going to London then i cant recommend this store enough. For me it beats mac hands down, i literally want/need everything.
I will also be posting future pics with eye looks for you all to see. Since buying these i haven't found the need for any other colours...and im debating not buying the Urban Decay Naked Pallette 2!!!...shock!!!

Nars Blush Stick

I bought this beauty in New York in a Sephora store. I absolutely love love love it! It's a Nars blush stick in my favourite colour Orgasm

This glides on to the skin and leaves the most gorgeous colour and sheen. I like using this in the summer as it leaves my skin looking glowy and fresh. Swatch

I'm usually hesitant about cream blush as I never think I'll be able to blend it properly or get it strong enough. This however is very easy to work with. I'm sure for anybody who regularly reads my blog you will already know about my Nars blush obsession and this is another fantastic addition to it. I'd reccomend this product to anyone that wants to try something different instead of the usual powder blush x

Handmade Goodies - Marshmellows Blends

Ok so Christmas is a time for giving...and I feel sometimes this should include to myself haha! Ok not just sometimes....alot of the time. While im buying lots of festive things for others i cant help but want to treat myself too...you know the feeling after all that tiring walking around with a million bags! And I'm thinking along the lines of nice relaxing treats...bath and shower products. I love all handmade goodies as they are usually such great quality and smell amazing! And these products did not let me down.
I bought the sugar scrub cubes in 'strawberry cheesecake' and a lipbalm in 'white chocolate and honey'.

Sugar scrub cubes - £5.99
You also get a lot for your money.

£3.99 for the lipbalm which is a very generous sized tin.

So for the first 2 days I can't and everyone who sees these can't stop smelling them....and secondly everybody wants to know where you can get hold of these from. Wonder no more my lovelies....I came across these on a lovely blog by Nicoletta which you can find at this link
http://nicolettasbeautyspace.blogspot.com/?m=0
From here you can find the link to her Facebook page or just search Marshmellow Blends...'like' it and shop away!

I must say the service was excellent, prompt and efficient. Also Nicoletta threw in a cookie dough massage bar as a gift for me...thankyou very much!
I'll be reviewing these products very shortly. In the meantime girlies buy buy buy! They make excellent Christmas presents for others....or yourself ;)x
