Test post

Rehab for my hair!

A while ago i did a post on how hair crazy i am right now. My hair gets put through its paces, its coloured, gets curled, backcombed, straightened. You name it im doing it. And it now needs some serious tlc. I bought these about a month ago and have been using as my regular shampoo. They are amazing, they are now standing the test of time...not just giving me that 'One time' amazing feel, it literally is softer, healthier and shiny after every wash. Also something interesting i thought was that the conditioner is a milk and you would never believe it would manage to do anything to hair but believe me it does! These were £13.50 a bottle so definitely more than your average shampoo but worth every single penny.

I always think that apart from your usual shampoo if you have long hair it needs a really deep conditioning treatment once a week. So i mentioned in a previous post i bought this beautiful little moroccon oil set, after using the oil itself and literally falling in love i had to try the shampoo, conditioner and intensive conditioner. They are all fab, the shampoo and conditioners really give my hair an amazing feel. However I do think they are all quite thick luxurious products possibly a bit too much for everyday use so i might finish off this mini set and then replace it with another as i think id have the big bottles in my bathroom forever. This set was £33.75 so worth every penny:) Have a great weekend all. I've got nails, hair and a massage booked so its definitely a beauty weekend for me. x

Japonesque Eye Smudger Brush.

Another Carmine December product. They really did do well as this is my third post on the one box alone:) I love the fact we got a brush as i like trying different brushes to create new looks.

This is definitely a good quality brush, its densely packed and has a fat flat head. Perfect for smudging in the crease of the eye or also lining underneath.

Hopefully Carmine will start giving other brushes or other beauty boxes may catch on to this. Definitely a great product and now a permanent fixture in my make up bag.x

A short but sweet post just like this perfume. I cant get enough of this right now, I've had this perfume on and off for years and just recently repurchased. It has a beautiful sweet smell with definite spicey undertones and has been living in my handbag for the last week:) If anybody is looking for a new perfume then this is definitely one id recommend.x

Teeny Tiny Beauty Haul

Ok so one of my new years resolutions was no more make up for a month!! And i broke that resolution on January 2nd 2.15pm to be exact:) It was a long shot lets be honest. I bought a Chanel D'Ombre Eyeshadow a few months ago and loved but with a hefty £31 price tag i was super happy to hear about 17's dupe. These are tiny little pots of heaven are priced at only £3.99. Its not quite a cream, not quite a mousse but definitely has some bounce in it!

This one is called 'Wild Midnight Blue" and is gorgeous, so rich, pigmented and super sparkley. I have bought this one to line my lower lash line, i think its a little too heavy for any eyelid work.

An everyday beauty 'Wild Bronze'. This one is packed with gold particles. Ill be giving this a go on a daily basis. Its pretty yet neutral enough to be wearing for work.

Swatched.

I have a bit of a love hate relationship with cream shadows im afraid, i have to say they don't crease etc but i don't think they look as good at the end of the day as powders. Lets see what happens with these two. Fingers crossed. I didnt mind giving them a go as they are cheap enough so lets hope ill soon become a cream shadow convert!x

myface.cosmetics eyeshadow blingtone sp"ice"y

This beautiful eyeshadow came from my December Carmine box and i truly love it. It is the perfect colour for me. As far as im aware there were a few different colours that went out but im super happy i got this one.

Its a beautiful golden brown packed with gold and slightly silvery glitter.
Just look how sparkley it is, it truly lives up to its "blingtone name".
It is highly pigmented and very easy to work with.

Swatched.

I used this on new years eve in the crease over my a gold from my MUA Heaven and Earth pallette.

This is most definitely now a firm favourite of mine and i will be using it for evenings out and parties. What did everyone else think of this eyeshadow? I will definitely be looking out for more myface.cosmetics in the future.

NYE make up!

My New Years Eve Make Up.

I kept it pretty simple as spent it with family at home. I wore a pair of black leggings and a stripey tee. Hair blow dried and root boosted, opted for a messy look rather than straight and sleek.

Now on to the good stuff...make up! I'll give a brief list of all the products used.

1.LancĂ´me Teint Miracle (Beige Daphne) all over face.

2. No7 pressed powder (candle light) all over face.

3.Eyes - MUA heaven and earth pallette and myfacecosmetics eyeshadow in spicey (Decembers Carmine Box).

Eyeliner - Top liquid liner Soap & Glory Topcat (Carbon Black).

Lower lash line - authentic kajal.

Mascara YSL Faux Cils (Noir Radical).

4. Concealer under eyes - Maybelline EverFresh (Medium Beige).

5. Lips - lipliner No7 (Blush)
Lipstick - Nars (Roman Holiday)
Lipgloss over the top - Nars (Super Orgasm).

6. Finished off with Mac Fix + for that all over dewy finish.

Also my new years motto!

Hope you all had a fabulous new years eve. x
