Drugstore pick

Today's pick is the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara.

This is only available in the U.S. I did hear a sneaky rumour that they might be coming across but nothing seems to have happened yet. I wish they would as Physicians formula is a drugstore brand bloggers and you tubers never stop raving about. I've tried a few blushes by them and they are comparable to some higher end products Id say.

I love this mascara for an everyday look, I find it gives me a nice length and separation (no clumps at all) and a glossy black finish. I use this for work generally and when I just want a simple eye look. It's totally different to the usual mascaras I go for as I usually hate plastic wands and huge wands for that matter.

Anyway if you can get hold of this then you really should as its a lovely addition to anyone's make up bag. Have a great weekend.

Bathtime Treats

I am such a bath girl! I love lying there, letting the day soak away, relax and use lovely products. My absolute favourite products are by Laura Mercier. They Id say are possibly the most indulgent and just smell so incredible. My favourite 2 scents from the line are Ambre Vanille and Creme Brulee.
I picked this set up in the Space NK sale a few months ago so thought it was time to get it out.
The individual full size products roughly retail for around £34.

Brand Focus - Oribe

Oribe is one of the most luxurious hair care brands out there, along with Philip B. Today I'm going to review my top 3 products ive tried by the brand as they are eye wateringly expensive so before splashing out it's worth a read through.

Texturising spray.

This badboy has had the blogging world going crazy for ages and it took me a long time to jump on the bandwagon. I bought a small Oribe travel kit which included this spray and unfortunately I loved it. I say unfortunately as a big size replacement costs £38! Yes that's right £38. I use this in the morning, just lift up sections of my hair and spray away, it gives me that extra volume and jhuuzh I need somedays. It also smells amazing and generally gives me beautiful big hair. A lot of people say that the Charles a Worthington Volume and Bounce is a good dupe for this but I don't agree, that has a hair spray element to it and a slight stickiness. I like it, but if you want a fool proof amazing texturising spray then look no further.

Thickening spray.

I was on the hunt for a new thickening spray as the Bumble & Bumble one gives me major static issues. I picked this up recently and really enjoy using it, i spritz it through damp hair, brush though and blow dry. My hair most definitely feels thicker and glossier after using this.

Signature Shampoo & Conditioner.

I don't use these everyday....what do I look like....a millionaire?! These are my once a week midweek pick me up for my hair, they leave it feeling salon like, bouncy and shiny. I actually think if I used this daily and it stopped working as well Id cry as I genuinely love the feeling after ive used it. I switch up my hair products ALOT as I think the worst that can happen after using something is you get left with a greasy mop as oppose to switching skin care which has left me with painful spots! I also think that your hair gets used to products too so I like to change things up regularly.

That's my 3 favourite products from Oribe, they are worth the price in my opinion. All are purchased from Space NK.

Drugstore pick.

A new feature on my blog. Every Saturday I'll bring you a product I love that's cheap and cheerful from the drugstore.

This week it's the NYX Buttergloss in Creme Brulee. These smell ohhh emmm geee! Like candy floss just mixed with goodness. These remind me a lot of the Clarins lip perfectors but at just a fraction of the price with more pigmentation.

These are a beautiful balmy soft lipgloss style product and I usually layer it over a matte lipstick to get rid of that dry feeling. Available online or in selected Next Stores priced £5.

What's in my handbag make up bag?

I love these posts showing me what people carry around. So let's take a peek!

1. The bag itself is a mulberry bow pouch which I sometimes use as a simple clutch.
2. NYX lipgloss in Tea Rose. A lovely bright pink gloss to layer over a lipstick.
3. Loreal lipstick in Fairest Nude.
4. Smashbox Eyeliner in Black.
5. Laura Mercier Blusher Brush.
6. Rimmel lipstick in Airy Fairy.
7. Eve Lom lipbalm.
8. Travelo currently filled with Caudalie de vignes.
9. Blusher by Tom Ford in Frantic Pink.

I carry around bits to just brighten up my look, I don't touch up my foundation etc as I like to spend a little longer in the morning getting it done and set it with a good powder.

Pancake day

I don't know why I forget all about pancakes until pancake day! Yesterday my sister made these yummy ones from Betty Crocker with nutella and they were incredible. I've decided that Saturday mornings should include pancakes:)

Sunday Love

I love Sundays! I'm just going to put that out there. I know lots of people don't enjoy them because they get the back to work blues but I'm just one of those lucky buggers that's enjoys my job. On Sunday's I like to really pamper myself and get ready for the week ahead (ive done a post on this before that I will update soon as my product choices have changed)
Beauty aside....here's what I love about Sundays.

It's the day I wear no make up, no contact lenses hence the glasses and just drink tea (from my favourite mug) and read. Nothing beats curling up with a good book in a blanket. The little tea pigs boxes I have here are a new thing im trying out. Everybody keeps banging on about the fancy ass tea they drink and well I just drink Yorkshire! So I felt it was time to branch out into the tea world:) I'll let you know how I get on!

Review Love Tanya

Hi ladies, im back after what feels like a million years. No excuses I just kinda fell out of love with blogging for a while there. However im back for now! I've still been reading blogs, watching YouTube videos, snooping around on Instagram like a creeper so I'm in the loop :)
Tanya Burr released her very first book last month and I managed to grab a copy early in my local WHSmiths. So one Saturday afternoon I sat down with a cuppa, sandwich and no expectations if I'm honest. I thought like many other beauty and style books it might be a bit blah and Id learn nothing. This book blew me away but not in a 'oh my god how did I live without this information way', more in a 'this is a cute fun read and I don't want it to end'. Id finished the entire book within 2 days and loved it. Now for anyone who hasn't read the book she starts it with an autobiography style chapter which I personally loved and it's then split into chapters like Beauty, Hair, Confidence, Happiness, Baking etc. Basically the things Tanya is passionate about. She starts the book with an autobiography style chapter which I really enjoyed as there's lots of things we never knew about her. What I found reading the book is that Tanya is a normal girl, who through hard work has become a huge success but the things that make her happy are no different to what make the rest of us happy. She is the kind of girl you want to be friends with, hang out and you know you'd have a laugh. She throws in lists of what make her happy, confidence tips and I think that's great to read for not only teens but older girls too. All in all I would absolutely recommend this book as it's guaranteed to leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside.
