Cute Storage Idea.

Hi my lovelies! Bank Holidays are always a fun family filled time for me but I also like to have a tidy up session! Sort out my make up stash, clean bedding, dusting and all that fun stuff. I know lots of people do "sweet jars" in their houses and they look super cute but I have this fish bowl that used to have vintage looking white roses that have definitely seen better days so thought time to change things up! I have soooo much make up that's hidden away and unused because I just can't be bothered to get it out! So I've thrown a huge collection of products into a big jar mainly lip but a few blushers too and will be dipping into it every morning:)
This now sits on my bedside table and I just think it looks really fun too! Hope you have all had an amazing bank holiday weekend. x

Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray

So I've been wanting to try the Oribe Texturising Spray for a long time now but just thought £19 for a tiny can seemed a little cray cray! Lucky for me Amelia Liana found a great high street dupe so my hair can get that extra volume and texture for a fraction of the price. I curl my hair lots so like big bouncy curls and volume at the top too which can be hard sometimes as my hair is long and quite heavy so this product is just perfect to spritz through it. It has a slight hairspray element too so you do get great hold too. All in all I'm very impressed I picked this up yesterday on offer 2 for £8.

The new palette - Too Faced Chocolate Bar.

So another week another palette! I know I don't need yet another nude eye palette but this one was just too cute to resist. It is part of the Too Faced range where everything looks like a box of chocolates.

The palette looks like a chocolate bar and smells like chocolate too!

Ok inside. An array of gorgeous chocolatey hues. Each one of these shadows is so buttery soft, so buildable and blendable. This is the first palette that I could take away with me and not need or miss any others. Now that's no small statement in the beauty world.

Swatches in no particular order.

This palette is around £45. In my opinion you need it, I prefer it over all of the Urban Decay naked ones, Bobbi Brown, and Clarins. This one for me is "the one"! I love the shades, they are so warm and just look amazing on. The staying power is also great, they don't budge and I don't use an eye primer either. If I was you id snap this badboy up immediately!

Old school love - Bodyshop Body Butter

Hi my lovelies! An old love has resurfaced....Bodyshop Brazil Nut Body Butter. That's quite a mouthful! These have been around for an absolute age and when I was 15 I was absolutely obsessed with them, this particular smell has always been my favourite but was discontinued. I found this in the sale on their website a few weeks ago and absolutely snapped it up! I'm not sure if it's making a come back or was a one off but I'm loving this stuff. I use it every day after a bath and my skin just feels so soft, nourished and smells amazing. These bad boys also go a long way so I'd say a tub would last a month easily. Next time your wandering past Bodyshop be sure to go in and fall in love with their body butters all over again x

Charlotte Tilbury Powder & Sculpt Brush

Now it's not often that I'll dedicate an entire blog post to just one brush. It's not often that anything genuinely blows me away at first use but this time it has! I have had my eye on this Charlotte Tilbury contour brush for quite a while but £35 just seemed a lot of money for one brush. Anyway time marched on and I caved so voila here we are.

Firstly the quality is incredible, the hairs are so soft and the brush has the perfect shape for precise sharp contouring a la Kim Kardashian.

I usually use the Real Techniques one and while that is great....this one just won't ever leave my sight. The rose gold hardware has also caused quite a stir in the beauty world and I agree it's an elegant touch. So if your looking to invest in a new good quality contour brush then look no further. Priced £35.

Reverse Hair Washing?!

So ladies....word on the street is that there's a new hair washing technique going on and it's condition then shampoo.
What"?!? I hear you all cry and I felt exactly the same, this goes against everything I've ever learnt. However with the promise of bouncier, shinier and cleaner feeling hair I was willing to give this a go (on a weekend of course in case the whole thing just felt weird). Now for the verdict.....this works!!
Basically I condition my hair (leave it in for 5 mins starting from mid length to ends), then wash twice as I would normally. My hair feels fresher and cleaner. How?! I don't know other than maybe any excess conditioner that wasn't needed is washed away and my hair has absorbed all it needs. My final word on this "Try it"!

L'oreal L'Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick by Color Riche Review

New product alert! Longest title to a blog post in the world but again great for those google searching ladies! These are the new L'oreal L'Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick by Color Riche.

When I first spotted these online I kind of assumed they would be a YSL glossy stain dupe judging by the packaging but I was totally wrong...ahem (never judge a book by it's cover and all that). Anyway this is as it says a liquid lipstick in a beautiful creamy glossy formulation. I'm more of a lipstick girl than gloss, but gloss is making a huge comeback so this is my perfect in between and gives me enough pigmentation to wear alone.
The colours I picked up.

The left is Nude Ballet and on the right Rose Melody.

Their colour range has 6 in total from what I remember, 3 on the nuder spectrum and 3 on the brights. I stuck to the nudes for simple pretty everyday spring lips. I can't sing this products praises enough, I love love love them. As soon as new colours are released I absolutely will be picking them up too. They retail at £8.99 and worth every penny.
