October Favourites

Hi ladies! I wasn't sure if I was going to upload an October Favourites post as i recently did an Autumn one but I've looked at my list and there's a few things!

The weather becoming colder has definitely led to me spending more time at home watching things on my ipad. At the moment I'm loving beauty videos by Annie Jaffrey, Tanya Burr and FleurDeForce.
Now TOWIE and Made In Chelsea are back I'm getting my posh/not so posh reality fix.

A few beauty bits
I recently bought the YSL Touché Éclat foundation and love it. I won't talk about this in too much detail as I'll be posting a full review.

Its a 10 leave in conditioner, this stuff is amazing but annoying because it's really expensive and only available to us in the UK through Amazon.

Bio Oil, just lately my skin is drying out a lot and ive been using this on dry patches.

Dr Lipp nipple balm for lips. Hands down this is just the best lip balm ever. I've tried about a million and I may do a round up post of my top 5 but this one I just keep coming back to.

A few cosy bits! I love the colder months as I enjoy being at home in cosy clothes so much (sounds boring but it just makes me so happy). I picked up some cute wooley pyjamas from Primark and slippers. A candle from John Lewis for day burning and one before bed.

Let me know what your favourites are this month! X

My Winter Night Skin Routine.

Hi ladies, hope you are all having an amazing weekend. The weather has become colder and my skin is definitely feeling the strain as a result. I have pretty dry skin so winter combined with central heating can really give me dry patches that my foundation just loves clinging to!
My skincare routine in the winter at night changes so I thought it would be good to share with you guys especially for any of you that may have dry skin too.

Starting Top Left - Clockwise.

Loreal Micellar Solution - I was a huge Bioderma fan but once this launched at a fraction of the price I was sold. Removes make up perfectly.

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic - I just reintroduced this back into my routine after a little break and boy has it made a difference! It truly does give your skin an extra boost and soothe it. I also like that this is a natural product. That also makes me feel better that I'm not loading my skin with chemicals.

Cetraben - This is an emollient available at pharmacies (for anyone who hasn't heard of this) I feel like it might just be an unsung hero of the beauty world! I've tossed aside my Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream in favour of this inexpensive emollient. I have developed a slight eczema patch under my eye which is sore and irritating and literally 3 days of using this at night has made a huge difference. I've started using this on any dry face patch and my body too. It's a fraction of the price around £5 and is just incredible. Another important note to make is that lots of heavy moisturisers and eye creams give you those mila spots (white under eye spots) and I believe these are due to blocking your pores, I have not experienced this at all with Cetraben and that's fantastic as it is super moisturising.

YSL Forever Light Creator - This guy needs no introduction you all know my love for this. Glowing perfection.

Have a lovely week! If you have any recommendations for dry skin let me know.

PayDay Purchase Clarins The Essentials.

Today is Friday and better still it's Payday! So what better way to justify a beauty treat.
I spotted this beauty in the Boots catalogue and yes I've seen palettes like it before...I own palettes like it know (Ahem yes you Urban Decay Naked 1 and 2) but I'm a sucker for any nude/brown/gold shimmery combo!

I'm talking about the Clarins The Essentials Palette.
It comes in a long hard wearing cardboard box in a similar style to the Naked palettes. This has a hand elastic around it to keep it closed.

Inside 10 beautiful shadows with a mixture of matte and shimmery shades.

A closer look.

Now I've literally written this post within 5 minutes of getting this palette home so I can't review it yet. I will definitely let you know how I get on with it and show you some swatches and looks.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend. xoxo

Current Autumn Favourites.

Every month I promise myself I will start posting a monthly favourites or do my very first YouTube video and it just never seems to happen! So I thought a seasonal post might be the best way to play this for a while. I do hope to become more regular with my posts though.

Now the seasons have changed I like to mix up my make up a little so here are a few Autumn bits I'm loving.

Starting Top Left working clockwise.

Neal's Yard Shower gel and Body lotion 'English Lavender'. There is something just so comforting about the smell of lavender.

Nars lipgloss 'Como' this is a pretty sheer plum colour so I usually pop it on top of another lipstick to just give it an Autumn feel.

Rimmel 'Airy Fairy'. This is a gorgeous pinky nude colour, it is not available in the UK (don't even get me started) so I bought 3 off ebay.

Kiko Scrub & Peel. I picked this little pack up on holiday and just use it when my skin is majorly dry! I think the central heating is causing major dry patches. Anyway one side of the wipe is super rough and exfoliates, the other softens beautifully. For 8 euros these were absolutely worth it.

Gucci II. An all time favourite scent, the perfect blend of sweet, warm and spicy.

O.P.I Malaga Wine. The most gorgeous deep red colour.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain 'Crush' a beautiful smooth plum colour, a hybrid between a balm and lipstick. I generally mix this too as it's not quite enough coverage alone. Also how ridiculously long is the product name?!

Anyway girlies I hope your all having a great week. Let me know if there are any products your loving this Autumn and also how often I should put up new posts. What seems like reasonable blogging frequency??

Beauty Calender - Boots

Quick post ladies. This year I have jumped on the Beauty Calender Hype. I haven't gone for the Selfridges version at the eye watering price of £80, I've opted for the very first Boots one. It's £30 and includes brands like Soap & Glory, Nails Inc and much more. I will keep you posted on Instagram with my daily beauty treats. Now bring on December!

Beauty Bazaar!

Hi guys:) This weekend I spent up north in Liverpool with my family. So it was one of lots of laughs, food and chatting the night away. We managed to fit in a quick hour of shopping as my cousin Sonia told me about Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar. I just knew I had to see this place.

My heart started beating a little faster once i saw it! So inside...lots of the usual high end brands Chanel, YSL, Lancôme etc, however for me I wanted to buy something that wouldn't be as easily available at home. I then saw the Tom Ford stand. I only have one Tom Ford piece in my collection and it is a gorgeous blusher, I paid an obscene delivery charge for that too!

Now onto the good stuff...
Beautifully packaged as expected.

I picked up a primer and lipstick.

The primer is illuminating and the lipstick pink...both my "sold keywords"!
The product packaging feels expensive and luxurious, the primer retails at around £52 and lipstick £36. So most definitely more than a pretty penny but hopefully worth it.

I will absolutely be using these first thing and they will sure make my Monday morning feel a little more special.
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend x

YSL Chromatics a Friday Favourite

Hi my lovelies I need to share my new eyeshadow palette with you that is absolutely beautiful! This is my second YSL chromatics palette and they totally deserve to be raved about. I bought my first and honestly wasn't that impressed until I started using the shadows wet. They give you the most beautiful shimmery eye without being glitter like, just amazing. I have received so so many compliments while using these. They are pretty pricey so my suggestion is either treat yourself before christmas as it's fab for all the parties or pop it on your christmas list you won't be disappointed. Hope you all have a lovely weekend x

Leicester Beauty Blogger Meetup Goodie Bag.

Hi ladies! This is absolutely an overdue blog post. I'll start my by saying a big thankyou to Hareem for organising such a fun and lovely meeting.
We were all given an amazing goodie bag which just had so many fab things in it would have taken forever to photograph individually so I'm sharing big messy photos instead.

Within our humongous bag dermaV10 were lovely and presented us with a mini goody bag.

Skincare heaven! I can't wait to get started on these. I'll be using this mascara all week and review.

Wow! Just look at those gorgeous products! There is BB creams, mascara, eyeliners, eyeshadows and the list goes on.

I won a prize too! I love Neals Yard, these will definitely get used over the colder months. I absolutely love English Lavender, it is such a relaxing smell.

Beautiful eyeshadow by Smooch, this reminds me instantly of the Nars duos.

A very cute little package put together for us with our names on, I found this the cutest touch.

The colours.

A few Accessorize goodies.

I am plowing my way through these products so I can give you some in depth reviews. I've given my sister and mum a few so I can get back to you all quicker. Hope you are all well ladies x

Autumn Treats

Hey gorgeous ladies! I'm sorry for being a bad blogger lately I've just been busy, and spending time reading lots of other blogs!!
I did a little shopping and wanted to share my Autumn Treats with you.

Above we have 2 pairs of cute wooley leggings (I'll be relaxing round the house in these rather than sleeping in them). The Santa ones were just too adorable not to buy. A pair of pretty fluffy slippers. Those were all from Primark.
Then I decided I wanted some good quality candles so off to John Lewis I went and came away with these 3. I'm hoping these aren't the headachey kind! Ill review these as for the price I'm hoping they are good. And lastly I caved and bought the cult classic OPI polish in Malaga Wine.

Hope your all having a lovely weekend x
