Denmark - My cousins wedding.

A few photos of my trip...
While there we enjoyed a typical Danish breakfast.
Yummy choco milk! It is such a shame we don't have this in England.

Pastries.

Bread rolls.

This was served to the bride and groom at the Mehndi (Henna night), traditionally you place a small amount of henna into the brides palm, a tiny bit of oil on her hair and feed her something sweet.

Me ready for the Mehndi.

Me ready for the Nikkah (the wedding ceremony).

A few snaps from Copenhagen town centre.

A normal chilling selfie.

This picture is my aunties view out of her living room.

Me ready for the reception.

The bride and groom.

A cute touch with all the boys from the family wearing superhero cuff links.

At the end of the night....
All of the cousins.

This weekend beauty haul!

Hi my lovelies...what weekend would be complete without a beauty haul....

A trip to Space.NK led to a few Nars treats.

Their beautiful new blush in Soulshine! I'm wearing this today and am so so in love with it! It's got a gorgeous pink, plum and bronze with a beautiful highlight running through the pan. It is also bigger than usual blushers by Nars so I'm hoping it will last a while as I'm not sure if its a permanent addition or limited edition

A lip crayon...this is a gorgeous red with a hint of fushcia. Once I have worn this I will post a photo for you. The colour is Luxembourg.

A gorgeous very me colour...everyday pink from Bobbi Brown. The shade is called Pale Pink. I love it, it's a very easy daytime wear and you can just keep it in your bag for fuss free touch ups.

This is soooo super sparkly that I just had to have it! A new moondust from Urban Decay in Diamond Dog.

Few Boots bits, foundation repurchase, nail varnish remover pads and black liner from Rimmel in their Scandal Eyes line.

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend x

New Hair Products I'm Loving

Hi ladies,

Just a quick post. I have new hair products to share with you. My hair has been feeling pretty dry lately and majorly unloved. I think sometimes I am really focused on make up and forget about my tresses.
Anyway I picked up a travel set by Caudalie the other day for £12 which was just amazing value. Ill be doing a separate post on that. It contained their Divine Oil which I've wanted to try for ages. I was walking by Regis and popped into ask for a spray leave in conditioner. They recommended the Enchanted Midnight Colour Luxury leave in treatment.
I've been using these treatments after washing my hair and I can truly they have made a huge difference. My hair feels strong, healthy and super shiny. These both get a big thumbs up from me!

Diptyque Travel Set Review.

Hi ladies,
A few weeks ago I was in Space NK and had an urge to try some new luxury brands. One gift set that caught my eye was Diptyque. I've heard lots about this brand especially in terms of their luxury candles. I wanted to try a few bits so for £35 got a travel set with 4 miniatures.

It came in this beautiful white box.
There are 4 products which are inside a material bag with a map of Europe on.

I love this bag and will definitely use it to keep cute bits in afterwards.
The products.

A hand balm, shower gel, body lotion and body scrub. All generous sized products that would be perfect for a long weekend away.
I've tried 3 of the products and so far so good, the shower gel is a beautiful uplifting smell. The cream is a very clean smell with a hint of lemon. The hand balm is super thick and creamy and I've just used it on both my hands and feet. While they feel amazingly soft there's something in the smell that's just not for me...I suspect liquorice but could be totally wrong!
Anyway all in all I'm very happy with this purchase, it totally makes a regular shower that bit more luxurious or would be a lovely present for the girl that might be a little hard to buy for. x

Eid Weekend

Eid Mubarak!
Eid is the celebration after Ramadan and is a time for family and lots of food. A few photos to share with you...

Me on the way to a family friends house Friday night for a party.
I'm wearing an Asian outfit.

A lovely chocolate cake made by my sister.

Saturday lunch I went out with my family.

My hair was curled using the Babyliss Perfect Curl. It took literally 20 mins and stayed curly with plenty of bounce and volume all evening.

The dress is from Oasis. I absolutely love the butterfly print.
I accessorised my outfit with a gold mulberry bayswater bracelet.

Eid is traditionally a time to give money to those younger than you rather than presents. I've started spending mine....obviously and I've just ordered a Nars blush in the colour Sin. I have been unsure about this colour for a while and it has been discontinued however I've found it online at HQ Hair so I quickly put in an order. It looks perfect for when I want to update my blush for Autumn.

Hope your all having a great weekend!

Soap & Glory Sexy Motherpucker Gloss Stick

Hi my lovelies,
Quick update with a product that's been an absolute firm favourite of mine for a few weeks. This beauty has been in my handbag every day. It is the Soap & Glory Sexy Motherpucker glossstick in 'Bashful'.

This is jumping on the whole lip crayon bandwagon for sure however has a more balm like texture. It has some colour payoff but very sheer so for me it's a lip balm replacement definitely not a lipstick.

It has a cute vanilla candy floss like smell which I personally love but for lots can be overbearing.
I think this was about £8 which isn't cheap so if I'm honest while yes I like the product and I will use it up I may not repurchase it. If your looking for something to just pop in your handbag for a fuss free touch up however then this is your guy. It's not groundbreaking just a cute product to have.

YSL Forever Light Creator Review.

Hi my lovelies,

Review time:) I blogged recently about purchasing the hugely anticipated new YSL wonder Serum. According to the Daily Mail there was a 5000 strong waiting list?! Crazy...but I know how us beauty lovers can be:)
I was pretty lucky and got hold of this pretty quickly. I've been using this for around 2-3 weeks every other night alternating with Alpha Liquid Gold. Now for my thoughts on it...
1. My skin the following morning most definitely looks brighter and smoothing.
2. While it is expensive you only need a tiny amount to cover your whole face.
3. Feels very luxurious and moisturising without being too heavy or greasy.
4. No problems with any reactions or breakouts as a result of this.
5. Smells incredible!
It has been said this product corrects pigmentation and dark spots, I can't comment on this as I don't suffer with them but if anyone does and has used please leave a comment below.
This will be a firm favourite in my night time routine for a long time I feel. Unless of course something better comes along....which I just don't think will :)

I've been loving...Alpha H Liquid Gold

It's review time! Now it has been a while since ive raved about a product I've been doing lots of hauls. However I must share my new love with you.

This is another purchase I saw on YouTube in one of Fleurs from Fleurdeforces videos. I like skin care products however do worry about things breaking me out as I don't usually have any skin problems. So before I part with any cash I'm reading reviews, watching YouTube and sifting through makeupalley.
This little beauty was getting rave reviews so I thought I'd give it a go. It is around £32 for 50ml but you can get 100ml for about £45 I believe. That is much better value for money and ill be going for that next time.
So basically I use this product alternate evenings before bedtime. I cleanse my face using Bioderma or Loreal Micellar Water. I then soak a cotton pad with Alpha Liquid Gold and gently smooth it all over my face avoiding the eye area. I get a tingly stinging sensation but nothing too harsh. And that's it....off to bed I go!
In the morning I literally wake up with more radiant and fresh looking skin. Any bumps or blemishes appear reduced or have gone completely. This honestly has transformed my skin care routine. I look forward to using this and will 100% be repurchasing again and again.
