This weekend...

This weekend has been lovely and spent with family. A few photos...

My nephew did a fun run for cancer research. Here is him crossing the finishing line.

A trip to Ikea

I brightened up my dressing table with this gorgeous pink flower.

Cute vintage style tea light holder.

And of course beauty bits. These were bought using the £3 off No7 vouchers.

Me in the car:)

We also went to Sherwood Forest as my nephew has been doing a project about Robin Hood. He "needed" a bow and arrow.

The major oak.

Where Robin Hood and his merry men had meetings.

Sunday night has been completed by this yummy pecan nut brownie made by my sister:)

A slightly different post.

While I love blogging about beauty...obviously as its a beauty blog:) I really love reading blogs which incorporate a bit more...so fashion/lifestyle/what the person is upto...maybe I'm a bit nosey so it could just be that:)

I like getting to know a bit more about a blogger that way I feel I enjoy their blogs more so from now on there will be an array of posts which I hope you enjoy.

Seeing as the sunshine has now made an appearance here is a few outfits I've worn to work lately.

Coral tee with bow sleeve detail - Dorothy Perkins.

Blue and white stripey t shirt with a bow - Next.

I've been teaming these girly pieces with big chunky jewellery either a watch or bracelets layered. I've bought a few new pieces recently so ill do a post soon:)

Liz Earle mini haul

This weekend I've done some shopping...as always but this time with another thought in mind...ingredients. To be honest I've never been too concerned about what ingredients go into any shampoos/conditioners or styling products until recently. I've been watching YouTube videos by a beauty/health blogger Annie Jaffrey and she talks a lot about the benefits of using products with natural ingredients. They have all the great minerals and vitamins your hair need without the nasty sulphates which are just coating your hair rather than cleaning it.
Anyway before I rant about these products too much ill give them a go and certainly keep u guys posted.

There's also a brightening face mask in here and it's a 2 minute one only which is just ahhh-mazing! So no excuses for not using this:)

Hope your all having an amazing weekend.

Cult Beauties

This weekend I did a little shopping and picked up some true cult beauties. These are products I've read endless reviews about and felt it was time to finally buy!

From left to right
Lancome Teint Miracle foundation - Number 3 this is a repurchase.

Shu Uemura eyelash curlers - I'm hoping these live up to the hype.

Mac mineralize skin finish - Soft and Gentle.

Guerlain Meteories Primer - crazy expensive but the best primer known to mankind £46.50 it does last a while though.

Essie - Not just a pretty face (every beauty blogger raves about this)

Nars - Radiant Creamy concealer in Ginger.

I promise ill review these items individually as I'm hoping they will be worth it! X

Summer accessories....

Summer I hear you say?! Well I'm hoping some sunshine comes soon as I have so many outfits planned and of course wanted some new bits to go with.
I've recently been totally obsessed with watching other beauty blogger you tube vids and as well as loving their make up I love their style! One in particular Annie Jaffrey (be sure to check out her blog and vids they are amazing). Quite often Annie mentions a store Forever 21 that she shops at in New York and tells us about all the fab things she buys! So online I went and had a look for myself.

My purchases

I got 3 beautiful necklaces which are such amazing quality and such amazing prices. I have most definitely found my new favourite online site. They use UPS too which I love as they are so reliable and your order is easily trackable.
On to the money...
Left - Black and Gold chain £9.90
Middle - Gold bow chain £1.85
Right - Yellow chain £4.90

I am so so happy with my purchases and will be wearing these immediately! Ill do a few photos with outfits I wear them with:)

My brothers wedding

Hi guys, sorry for the lack of posts lately it has been my brothers wedding! So I've been super busy having lots of fun.
Here is a few pics of the different days and looks I went for.

Mehndi night (involving lots of henna and dancing).

Dholki night. (A party at home with lots of singing and dancing).

Bharat (The wedding day).

Walima (Reception party).

I kept my make up pretty similar throughout, lots of gold/brown smokey eyes and bright lips.
