MUA Undressed Palette

I'm as guilty as the next beauty blogger for generally writing about high end products. I guess I want them more, spend more on them therefore feel the need to report back. However every once in a while the high street comes out with something amazing, affordable and it should be shouted about.
Lots of bloggers have reviewed this palette already, it's not new so this isn't an exclusive post. I just wanted to share this with you as I've been using this palette a few days a week for about 3 months now and take it with me when I'm away for the weekend. This even went to Paris with me.
So here it is the MUA palette costing a mere £4 from Superdrug.

I literally am amazed at the quality of these shadows for the price. I actually use these over both my Urban Decay palettes (I really should show them some love).
I can't recommend this enough! It's a beautiful basics palette with a mixture of easy to wear shades in both matte and shimmer. If your near a Superdrug anytime soon then get your hands on one.

Friday Favourite

It takes a lot to impress me when it comes to mascara as I literally want it all. I want longer, thicker, blacker more voluminous lashes... Now I know I want doesn't always get but in this case you do.

I was given a sample of this when I picked up a Guerlain primer and usually I toss samples in my bag never to be seen again. However this one sat on my dressing table I used it and WOW!
Longer, glossier and thicker lashes with no clumping. I love this mascara about as much as my YSL Faux Cils. I'd say Guerlain was better for day wear. I will 100% be purchasing this very very soon.

Welcoming Mr Tom Ford

Today was a special day....today is the day I welcomed Mr Tom Ford into my life.
"Whatttt only now?" I hear you scream...yes I'm afraid. As many know his cosmetics are beautiful but set you back a pretty penny so I had to buy something I knew I would love.

Blusher is always a good place to start for me. The packaging is luxurious, heavy, thick and his name is on the front.

The colour.
Frantic Pink. It's obviously pink but it has a subtle peach glow and plenty of sheen to it. In short...beautiful.

Swatched.

I will review this once I've used it more but I have a feeling that me and Mr Ford are going to have a long lasting relationship;)

Saturday means beauty counter day:)

So I had a list of 2 things to buy and of course I couldn't stick to it could i. Damn those beautiful displays in John Lewis.
I felt it was about time I jumped on the Liz Earle bandwagon. So I got a starter kit of the Hot Cloth Cleanser which came in a cute little pouch with 2 muslin cloths and an Instant Boost Skin Tonic.
Recently I've been trying to take better care of my skin and not just relying on make up wipes.

The 2 items on my list!

Now this primer featured on my Friday Favourites post...(I'm aware you can see me in the reflection of this photo) :)

My obsession for primers doesn't seem to be wavering one bit and I've built up quite the collection. I should probably do a collective post. Anyway this one by Guerlain looks just ahhh-mazing and I'm excited to use it.
Bow! One of the new shades by Dior in their Dior Addict lipsticks for Spring 2013. This just looks so so beautiful on it will most certainly be my best friend all summer.

I will let you know how I get on with all my beauty bits.

Friday Favourite.

Back with this post...
My wishlist item!

I'm totally obsessed with Paul & Joes Bon Bon primer. It's a gorgeous formula (and deserves a post of its own so ill stop rambling). Anyway I've heard that the Guerlain Meteorites primer is the more luxurious version...so of course I need this.
I'm trying so so hard to be good at the moment and not spend crazy amounts on cosmetics...it's just proving a little difficult. x
