Urban Decay Naked Basics

Presenting the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette.

Excited?!...erm not really. The success of the first palette was mahoosive and no beauty buff could live without it. The second...we all jumped on the bandwagon...it had a few cooler shades but essentially very similar.

This one...smaller with matte shades and hey presto we have the 'next big thing'?!...not in my opinion but I'm sure it will have record sales. On the plus side its small enough to be handbag friendly or good for mini breaks when packing light.
What's everyone else's opinion?

Chanel Illusion D'Ombre - Apparence

No trip to Paris would be complete without a little Chanel right!

I love the Illusion D'Ombre eyeshadows they are so pretty and easy to work with.
Not a cream, not a mousse just something soft and in between:)
I opted for this dark-ish gold. I wanted something for daily wear that I could just sweep on my lids in a flash.

Swatched

End result, just a nice pretty daytime look.

Bought for 29 euros. This is part of their holiday collection for 2012. I've not yet seen it in the UK but I'm sure it's on it's way:)

What i spent my advantage points on...

Advantage points burn a serious hole in my pocket! I always think they should be spent on things you don't need...essentials are called essentials for a reason! Therefore in my eyes points are a bonus which equals treat time. I had £21 which for my advantage card is a lot...I usually cave and buy some high street make up at £10:)
Ok so on to what I bought...
This beautiful Ted Baker wash bag. I have a bazillion but couldn't resist this beauty and figured my trip to Paris would be the perfect opportunity to use it:)

How beautiful is it with the pretty birds!
Next a gorgeous polish I saw on twitter and couldn't resist buying. 'Divine wine'. This will be my Parisian pedicure colour:)

Have a great weekend all x

New Vintage Style Mirror

I've been hunting for a vintage style mirror for absolutely ages now to fit in with my vintage style shabby chic room. And finally I bought it from Matalan for £20.

It's only a half length mirror but i sit down to get ready so that's ok...however I do slightly miss my full length mirror.

Picture of my current make up station.

Night time winter skin routine

This is a short and sweet post about how my nighttime skincare routine has changed since the weather has turned significantly colder. I have quite dry skin anyway so winter can literally make my skin flake off my face. At the moment each night i get home from work im taking my make up off and lathering up in cocoa butter. While i appreciate this is far too greasy for most skin types it literally saves mine. Also the new eyslix cream im using...anti wrinkle eye cream. So far so good, i will write an in depth review soon.

Gold accessories

I'm totally loving gold right now so sharing a picture with you of my Michael Kors MK5055 watch layered with a bracelet by 'Farah'. Gold + Layered is a winner for me this Autumn. I love wearing this huge watch with pretty dresses just to give it that slight edge.
