Japonesque Goodies at HQ Hair

I was lucky enough to receive some amazing products from Japonesque which has now launched at HQ Hair!
All beautifully packaged.

What I received.

These eyelashes are amazing! I wore them on Saturday evening and I honestly love them!! Definite repurchase for me. I took them
off carefully and think there's easily a few wears left in them yet. Corner lashes are a big winner for me anyway as I think they look so much prettier and fluttery:)

Me with them on

Heated eyelash curlers! Now ive been a bit wary of whether I would ever bother but I have and these are fab. I keep them in my handbag and use them in the day when I'm feeling the need:)...ermmm always!

Aha! A flat gel liner brush. Not something id have ever bought as I'm a liquid liner girl however I do have a pot of gel liner going to waste so I might just get practising:)

Right ladies this product has launched at hqhair.com I fully recommend you get yourselves over there and have a looksie! I'll be filling up my "virtual basket" pretty quickly!

Bobbi Brown Miami Range

My new gorgeous lipstick! Well it was the range that caught my attention at first "Miami"...Erm yes please:)

Of course I went for a pink...no huge surprise there. Perhaps one day I'll branch out but it won't be anytime soon.

Swatched.

Fab formula, creamy and gives a great colour pay off. My first Bobbi Brown lipstick...i have a feeling it will be the first of many x

Mini Haul

New perfume alert! Very picky when it comes to scents as so many just make me want to puke! Anyway this one most certainly does not...it's by Givenchy 'Ange ou Demon'. For me it's the perfect summer fragrance as its super fruity with a little kick of...summer?! Nailvarnish was an impulse buy with a No7 voucher it's beautiful!x

Nars dupe??

Who isn't looking for a Nars Dupe ladies?! Well ive found some...ish!
They aren't perfect matches but pretty good considering the price difference. A Nars blush will set you back more than a pretty penny...well £17.50 to be exact however ELF blush only £3.75
I've been impressed with the quality of ELF blushers the only drawback is that obviously you can't be swatching and testing just gambling on your order.

The Dupes

Left to right
ELF twinkle pink
NARS orgasm
NARS deep throat
ELF tickled pink

Worth the money for a throw in your handbag kinda blush I'd say. Wont be a permanent fixture in my make up collection but not a purchase I regret either x

My new make up bag

It's been about 6 months since i bought a new make up bag and to any normal person it may seem insane to buy a new one so quickly but us beauty bloggers aren't normal?! :)
Anyway for me I end up looking for ages as I'm fussy...I can't even explain what it is I want other than I just know when I see it. I picked this Ted Baker black patent bag with a cute nude bow on the front. It's very roomy so perfect for all your essentials plus more:) Now on to the important details...price £25 and it from John Lewis.

My first ELF order

My first ELF order ladies. I got all this booty for just £30! Incredible value.
So on to my haul.
3 blushers.

An eyeshadow.

4 Lipglosses.

Some random extras -
Powder brush
Blusher/contouring brush
Highlighter
Lipbalm
Undereye concealer.

Now the price of this was amazing but I'm yet to try it so I'll be letting you know whether it's worth it or not. I'm normally a make up snob but had to try ELF as so many bloggers rave about it. The packaging is very Nars-esque but it's plastic rather than rubbery. I must say im impressed that the blushers and eyeshadow have mirrors in considering they are so cheap. My sister fell in love with 2 of the blushers so I'll wait for her verdict to report back! Also the only annoying thing is obviously only being available online you can't get a true feel for the colours until they land on your doorstep but I'd say there's only a couple of items I was a bit surprised at. x

She Said Beauty Box - July

Im a little late with my July She Said Beauty box post...simply because i wasn't bowled over by it. Usually im super excited by beauty boxes but i have to say my interest is wavering.
Ok on to the products:-

Above we have a Murad Time Release Blemish Cleanser and LaylaD Honey moisturiser (also good for acne prone skin) - for me both have been given away as they are unsuitable.

The Stylefile created by Tom from the Apprentice...in my opinion a ridiculous invention. Only useful if you have rounded nails....most have square now...
Miners eyeliner...its black so ill use it. A little sachet of an exfoliator too.
Im afraid not much more to say about this i think ill give the next box a try and then im possibly moving over to Jolie Box.

Clinique Chubby Stick

I jumped on the bandwagon and bought a Clinique chubby stick. £16 for a moisturising colour lip balm....really?!

Swatched

I'll be reviewing this by the end of the week as its a pricey product considering its a lipbalm!!

Accessorize Blusher

My lovely sister uncovered this gem for me in Superdrug. Now Accessorize cosmetics isn't something I have ever given my full attention...yes the packaging is as pretty as their products I just never thought what was inside would match the outside...oh how wrong I was!

This beautiful pink shimmery blush is so so soft, I use it as an all over face colour and it gives the freshest summery look ever. It also is a great dupe for Mac Baked Blushes.
Now money time...it was half price at £3.49! Bargain!
Shade 5 Scandalous.
Swatched.

Buy buy buy!
