My YSL fave!

Quick post to share with you ladies about my duty free bargain! 2 YSL Faux Cils mascara 'Noir Radical' 47 euros. For anyone going on their holidays be sure to look out for this i was super impressed! I cant express my love for this mascara enough im easily on my 4th tube now. I have heard some people say they find it dries out too quickly which yes it probably does for some but being such a mascara junkie i get through mine pretty fast, id say one tube lasts me between 2-3 months. Anyway whether you are going through duty free or not if you haven't tried this mascara then please do...you wont be disappointed.

Spa Find Goodies

I was lucky enough to be asked to review some products by a great company called Spa Find.

The products i received are "Calmit Extract Anti Ageing"

These cute little vials were promising me that they would stabilise my skin when it is particularly dull or oily.
I'd say my skin was more likely to have dull days rather than oily.

I got 3 vials and you were meant to massage it into your skin am and pm for one week a month.

Verdict time....

My skin feel amazing! It looks more smooth and even. It has a glowy look as well. I'm truly impressed with this product. I'm reccomend it 100%!

A little photo of me after a week of using it!

These products are all available online.

High Street Haul!

Just a few bits I picked up with great offers at high street shops.
Soap & Glory has a 3 for 2 on at the moment. I picked up the same 3 eyeliners which may seem boring but it's practical!

I love these liners as they are easy to work with and super black. Also nothing else from the range excited me.

Fancied a few new brushes so picked up this Eco Tools set for £16. Also comes in a cute pouch perfect for travelling.

This gorgeous gold shadow is from Superdrug £4. Huge pot, very smooth and easy to work with. I've been wearing it every day!

She Said Beauty Box - June

My very first She Said Beauty Box.

I unsubscribed to GlossyBox last month as I wasn't bowled over by their products, the boxes were inconsistent and timing terrible. So onwards and upwards they say. I decided to subscribe to She Said Beauty. This box is £9 plus p+p. When signing up you all fill in a fairly in depth questionnaire so hopefully get products you want.
The box itself is in a pretty Tiffany Blue colour and a magnetic flip down lid.

What I got.

We have here:-
Fake lashes
Mischa Barton Body Butter
Elemis Bath Elixir
St Tropez Airbrush Leg Spray
2 samples - Perfume and BB cream.

The 3 that I will use. This box was alright in my opinion, it wasn't incredible just ok. I'll give it a few more months and see if I will continue. Anyone else love/hate this months box?x

Laura Mercier Primer & Blusher

A trip to Space N.K never fails to dissapoint! As I walked in there was a new Laura Mercier stand, I've never seen this brand stocked here before.

Primer....radiance...SOLD! Anything claiming to make me more radiant or glowy and I must have it immediately.

Rose Illuminating Quad. This is a gorgeous slightly shimmery blush which I use all over my face after foundation and powder.
I'll be reviewing these items fully and letting you know what I think x

Mac Lip Erase

I have been hunting for one of these for errrmmm....forever! They only ever seem to come out with occasional limited edition collections?! A bit silly in my opinion as its a great product and I'm sure would be a staple for many if they could get hold of it.
Either way I found one in Malaga Airport in Spain. I love love love this. I'm a huge lover of pink lipsticks from baby barbie styles to much brighter fuschias however being Asian and my lip colour slightly darker I don't think for some of the lighter shades
that the true colour ever comes across. So lately I've been using Mac lip erase, letting it set for around 5 mins then using my lipliner and lipstick.
With lip erase on

With Dior addict "Singuleire" on

A much truer reflection of the colour.
I'll be hunting for back ups of this so as soon as anybody knows they are out again be sure to let me know please. Anyone know any good dupes for this product?x

House Of Fraser Beauty Counters

So this weekend was pure beauty retail heaven for moi! I was helping my best friend with her make up bag (that post was yesterday in case you missed it).
I was walking through House of Fraser and all these beauties just jumped in to my hands....i promise:)

Ive been wearing Lancome foundation for around 6-7 years and ive loved each and every one. I wear Shade number 3 it is just perfect for my skin tone. I switched to Teint Miracle a while ago as it is very thin and gives a great luminosity to the skin. However...coverage isnt briliiant, so i started to mix it with an old bottle of Teint Idole i had. Now Teint Idole has been reformulated and ive read lots of blogs saying how great this product is so voila im now going to be using this too. For some it may sound crazy as these foundations arent cheap but im using a small amount of each (so they will last me ages) and getting all the qualities i want in a foundation. Once i have used Teint Idole Ultra 24 for a while i will add to the bazillion reviews and let you know what i think.

New lipsticks! Well sort of! Let me explain:) I love the formula of Dior Addict lipsticks. They are basically perfect for summer, they have a soft almost lip balm style formula, you get a good colour payoff with a beautiful glossy finish. In a word...amazing! The 2 colours i bought are 'Singuliere' which i have had before and its nearly finished...so a repurchase is always a great sign! The second colour is 'DiorKiss'. Both pink of course.
Swatch

Left 'Singuliere' - a beautiful barbie pink.
Right 'Dior Kiss' a more vibrant pink.
My hand has random other make up on so sorry for the messy hand swatch.
On my lips 'Singuliere'.

Repurchase alert! Urban Decay lipstick 'LoveChild' The stupid arrow thing at the bottom of this lipstick is the most ridiculously annoying thing ever, you cant just throw it in to your handbag for fear of ripping the lining or scratching your phone so if they changed the packaging that would be great. All that said its a gorgeous colour i wont go into too much as ill review it fully.

My best friends beauty haul!

My best friend decided she needed a complete make up bag overhaul and enlisted my help. This is a dream job for me...a whole make up bag to put together and complete control:) I decided that Superdrug and Boots would be the best places to start and to take advantage of offers. Above is the complete haul and below I'll talk you through a few offers.

For me when it comes to make up application the skin should look flawless. In my opinion you can't skimp on foundations and Loreal is a great drugstore brand. In superdrug all Loreal was on 3 for 2 so we picked up a true match foundation, powder and mascara.

My friend has very sensitive eyes and Natural Collection seem to suit her best so we took advantage of the 3 for £5 offer in Boots and bought a blue, black and grey eyeliners.

Blusher time! This new brand (well I've never seen it) the make me blush blusher is the most beautiful pinky peach colour. It was around £8.50 and you get plenty of product for your money. Secondly a pretty MUA blusher for £1!

Primer time! I don't know how I ever lived without primer it's a staple for me now. I picked up a Rimmel primer and my favourite concealer Maybelline.

Lippie...my friend isn't a huge lipstick wearer so to break her in gently Revlon Lip Butter. The colour is Strawberry Shortcake (I have reviewed this product in full on my blog).

No make up bag can ever be complete without a decent set of brushes. I don't advise people go crazy with mac brushes when starting out just a good simple brand. I've read good reviews about Eco Tools brushes and this entire set cost £16 so well worth the money.
The shopping trip was a huge success my bestie now has a complete make up bag shes happy with and this all came in at under £100!x

Mac Mineralize Blush - Dainty

Instead of doing a mahooosive haul post from my holiday I thought I'd review the products individually as it will be much more detailed. It's been ages since I bought a mac blusher...basically Nars is the brand for me...however I spotted this beautiful blush in "dainty" at the airport.

It's a gorgeous soft shimmery girly pink...just perfect for the summer. Instead of using bronzer all over my face I use this with a big fluffy brush and it's gives me a lovely healthy glow.
Swatched

I cant actually remember the price of this but I'm fairly sure it's less than £15. It's a big blusher so I'm sure will last a while and definitely worth the money. Big thumbs up from moi x

Kiko Grey Liner

Since falling in love with my Urban Decay 24/7 liners I've been going crazy trying to get my hands on a Grey liner. It had to be a specific grey though...graphite almost...not silver. Shimmery not glittery. Anyway once I'd pretty much given up I found this amazingly perfect colour in Kiko. I have used it under my lash line every day this week and love how it looks. I am still wearing black liner in my water line and top liner.
Swatch.

Picture.

Kikos liners are a great formula very easy to use, they don't drag on your skin at all and long lasting. It stays on all day and no smudging! Kiko i hear is now available online and in London so if you get the chance buy buy buy! Great quality and even better prices.

New Chanel Lipsticks

Well ladies no trip to duty free would ever be complete for me without a trip to the Chanel counter. I picked up 2 lipsticks in pink shades of course!
The left hand one is a Rouge Coco Shine lipstick in "Sourire'.
The one on the right is Rouge Coco in 'Magnolia'.
Swatched.

Top 'Sourire'
Bottom 'Magnolia'
I love both of these equally. The Rouge Coco Shine range is definitely more sheer and shiny, very easy consistency to work with and gives a good colour payoff. The Rouge Coco range is a much more solid colour, this is also easy to work with however much less forgiving if your lips are dry so i recommend a good lip scrub before (I use one by Never to Busy to Be Beautiful which is the same as the Lush one) and then Blistex about 5 minutes before application.
I recommend Chanel lipsticks to any make up junkie they are great quality and i don't believe drugstore brands really compare.

Magazine Freebies!

Everybody loves a good magazine freebie right! I have to say i used to buy a lot more mags than i do now but i couldnt resist this one once i heard about it on twitter.
My primer obsession isn't new news to anybody who reads my blog regularly and i have heard great things about Benefits 'The Porefessional'. So off i went to get my hands on it and once i saw the brightening one i had to buy both!

Ill be using these over the next week or so and will be sure to write a full review and let you know if i will purchase them in full size. If you see any copies of glamour i would definitely grab one while you can.
