i-pout lipstick

This clever little lipstick came in my Carmine November Box.



Lipstick with a difference...it also has a mirror and a built in light.




The colour is called Pure Bliss and is a very strong pink. A darker pink than i usually wear but gorgeous for evening wear. One thing i love about this is that it is so creamy in texture and doesn't seem to settle in to any cracks in the lips...id call it a forgiving lipstick.

The perfect colour for me, i love all variations of pink lips and i have been using this lots. If anybody sees this brand anywhere then don't hesitate in buying this lipstick as you wont be dissapointed.x

Lulu's Time Bomb Flashback Night Cream

I've noticed a few beauty boxes have been giving away night creams at the moment with anti ageing properties, im only 26 but im all up for keeping those wrinkles at bay. Ive been using this for a week now and its got a lovely smell to it...herbal again...that for some reason always makes me think that its going to work (not sure why). I cant comment on whether i look any younger or not...but it gives me beautifully soft fresh looking skin in the morning. I would most definitely recommend this to anybody who is looking for a night cream or a strong night moisturiser with added benefits:)x

Carmine December Box

Another Beauty Box! This is my second Carmine box so i was super excited to receive it. The box itself is very thick and is pretty difficult to open. Id go as far as saying its a 2 man job:) However i use this in my drawer as make up storage so cant complain.



Inside....



Wow Wow Wow another impressive December box.st One thing i love about Carmine is that you do get a decent range of beauty products and no perfume samples this time! So the information bit:-
* Weleda Pomegranate Body Wash. - This smells lovely and is something im sure i will use.
* KMS California Freeshape Quick Blow Dry Spray - This product claims to smooth hair and cut blow drying time by upto 50% which for my hair is a big bonus. So i am fairly excited about trying this out.
* Japonesque Smudger Brush - This is a fab product and i love trying out new brushes.
* Myface Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Spicy. Gorgeous brown glittery colour perfect for this time of year and my skin tone.
*Institut Esthederm Time Technology Cream - this cream is a light reflecting cream perfect for all ages and gives skin a great glow.

I haven't gone into too much detail as i haven't tried any of these products yet. I will take individual photos and post reviews of each individually.

Soap & Glory Mighty Mouth

Look what i got! This gorgeous Soap & Glory Mighty Mouth kit. As much as i love winter this mixture of cold weather and central heating is drying out my skin, hair and lips! So i got this cute little set. I use most of the Soap & Glory range and am yet to be let down.



It opens out like a little book with a step by step guide on how to use it. The contents are an exfoliating lip scrub at one end, a smoothing lip balm at the other and a plumping lip gloss.




Close up - the Lip scrub, contains tiny grains and says use maximum twice a day.




The lip balm and it can be used as much as needed.

All the products are beautifully packaged and i cant wait to try them! Review to follow.x

Make up Store highlighter - Big Bang

Another beautiful purchase from Make Up Store. Its a highlighter in Big Bang. I love anything that makes me look more 'glowy'! This product does just that.

I use this for evening occasions, its a beautiful colour and gives a gorgeous sheen. It lasts literally forever! I use this instead of blush quite often as the colour it gives is definitely strong enough. I must add that this is shimmery not gliterry...but if you don't like shimmer then this certainly isn't for you! Its definitely for me however...and will be seeing me through all these christmas parties.x

December Favourites!

Heres my December favourites girlies! All the products i am literally reaching for most days! Ill list them below:-

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting spray - Setting sprays are my new best friend i literally cant believe i have only just discovered them! I use this one for evenings only.

Kiko Blusher - Use all over face with a big powder brush for an all over glow.

Monu Skin Perfector Cream - I received this in Novembers GlossyBox and love love love this. It smooths any lines and imperfections on the skin and is a fantastic primer. You don't have to use much and as it was a full size product i think it will last a long time before needing to repurchase.

Dior Addict 2 - One of my favourite perfumes.

Kajal in black - Im always searching for the blackest eyeliner out there and own about a million but the blackest will always be authentic kajal. It allows for a much more dramatic eye and just lines the eyes beautifully.

YSL Faux Cils (Noir Radical)- I cant rave about this mascara enough, its amazing! I swear i will never love another mascara again, this gives me everything i want in a mascara, long, volumised truly black lashes!

Make Up Store eyeshadow - (Treasure)- Gorgeous colour and i use it daily to line my lower lash line, dark brown with a shimmer in.

MUA eyeshadow - £1!!! Bargain and perfect for the festive season.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine lipstick (Aventure) - Pink with tiny flecks of gold in.

Mac Fix + - My daily setting spray, if i forget to use it i really do notice the difference.

Deborah Lippman Nail colour (Razzle Dazzle) - From my December GlossyBox.

Festive Nails Take 2

Time for festive nails! Christmas the only time of the year when you can get all sparkly and the more glitter the better! I have chosen this beautiful polish by deborah lippman that i received in Decembers GlossyBox.




How it looks...




I love it! Its a gorgeous plum colour with dark pink/purpley glitter particles! Absolutely amazing. Classy yet still super glittery.
Anyone else got any great festive nail colours?x

Tangle Teezer Review

So time for my tangle teezer review. This £10.25 brush promises to be able to easily brush your hair when wet....thats some promise! I've seen this brush reviewed a million times on blogs and even spotted it on Tamara Ecclestones show...if its good enough for the billionairess...

Anyway...Its a good product. It does what is says. I would recommend it as it causes less breakages and is very good for the hair but id say at £10.25 its pretty expensive. The bristles being so densely packed is what is getting your hair tangle free. If you want it....and have a spare tenner then id get it. Would i rush out to buy this....possibly not.

I'm ready for Christmas!

Ok so I'm all ready for Christmas and there's still 5 days to go! Presents bought, cards written, outfits bought:) Heres a few christmas pics to share with you all!

Nars Illuminator orgasm

Well well another Nars product...need you ask the colour...Orgasm of course. This product was also picked up in New York.

It is a very light creamy/watery feel. Gives a gorgeous sheen and is what it says...an illuminator. I will wear this on special occasions over my blusher to give that gorgeous luminous look. Id say its too much for the day time its definitely an evening product where you will be photographed. Im thinking the whole Millie Mackintosh look (from Made in Chelsea).

When blended.



Its about £20, lasts forever and is lovely for giving you that little something extra on special occasions. Nobody wants to look the same everyday right?!x

December Glossybox

Yeyyyyy my Christmas Glossybox has finally arrived and in this beautiful festive red! I have to say that Novembers box sorely disappointed me and i was considering cancelling my subscription...well not after this month. Glossybox have done good!!!



Of course i opened it right away.





To reveal 4...yes 4 full size products!!!



I am so so loving each and every product, so much so that I've taken pictures of each individually.

Here we have a Rituals foaming shower gel, Rituals is one of those gorgeous shops that just feels luxurious as soon as you walk in. I absolutely cant wait to try this. I might even wait till christmas day:)



A super festive gorgeous deporah lippman nail polish. Its a gorgeous dark purpley colour with dark pink glitter. I love it and this is most definitely my christmas nail colour drama sorted!



Being a complete mascara junkie i was more than excited to be receiving this. I've never heard of this brand but im willing to give it a go. Its full size and worth £15 so im thinking it cant be bad!



Cargo classic lipgloss in Serengeti.



This excited me too! I've been using the cream monu as a primer that was in last months glossy box and i love it so another primer is always welcome as an addition.



An extra little sample of nail varnish remover.



Good job GlossyBox i will be reviewing every product shortly. I love love love this box:) I must add that we all got wayyyy more than our moneys worth in this box!

I'm all about the pink lip!

As we know I'm super obsessed with pink lips! I own Lipglosses, lipsticks, pout polishes...the lot. I love the girly fresh look it gives. This is my favourite pink lipgloss in the world so had to share it with you! It's from Make up Store in London.



The colour is zol and it's around £13. This has a gorgeous creamy texture with a beautiful shine. It gives a definite colour too not just a sheen. I recommend this to anybody...it looks fab on an Asian skintone and I am sure it would suit most others. Happy Friday my lovelies x

Benefit Cheek Tints & Highlighters

So these products need no introduction, anybody who's anybody knows about these 3 little wonders from Benefit. I got these tiny bottles free with glamour magazine a few months ago! I bought 3 copies just to complete the set.
Ok review time....im sorry but i don't like them! Gasp....shock....all of those things...maybe im the only one in the world who feels like this but i really don't think they are all that great. On my asian skin tone even though i am fairly light i don't think they show up greatly or offer me anything that i cant live without. Im very very glad that i got these free with magazines and didnt pay full price for any products. These may look great on lighter skin but i wouldnt reccomend it for asian skin tone im afraid.x

My very first Carmine Box

And so it arrived! My very first Carmine Beauty Box. I thought i would give it a go after reading some great reviews on other beauty blogs. I do still subscribe to GlossyBox but im afraid last months box disappointed me....so they only have December to change my mind.
So the box is black and a lift off lid...which in my opinion was super tricky to open, in fact it took two people:)


After shaking and pulling at it for 5 minutes it revealed...


After unwrapping that bow (every time i receive a box it feels like christmas) inside i found...



Neom Organics Body Lotion
Dainty Doll Eyeliner Pencil
i-Pout lipstick
Lulu's Time Bomb Flashback Night Cream
Cosmetics A La Carte Brow Ink.

Upon closer inspection...This cream is an organic product packed with fragrances of lavender and jasmine. I personally love the smell but i can easily see how some would not as it is very strong.

Well i shall be 27 soon so might as well start turning the clock back now! Ill be writing a review on this for sure.



This lipstick has a very high end look about it and i love the white packaging!


Dont be fooled...its more than a lipstick...it has a built in light and mirror...perfect for the dance floor:)



Swatched (Colour Pink Bliss.


Its very thick and creamy. I absolutely love it. The colour is a darker pink than i usually go for but i will be wearing this at christmas parties for sure!

Dainty Doll eyeliner. This brand Dainty Doll has been made by Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud (Redhead). The reason behind this brand is that Nicola always struggled to buy make up for her incredibly pale complexion. It can be bought in Boots and id say was mid priced so more than Rimmel but less than Dior. Anyway this eyeliner isn't very good! Its so hard!! Not creamy at all so i don't think it would be very easy to line my eyes with.I had to press super hard to get any colour payoff on my arm as shown below. In short don't buy it...theres lots of better eyeliners on the market and cheaper!



Brow Ink. This is a great product if you have light eyebrows that need filling in. The tip applicator allows for super thin natural lines to be made. It isn't of any use to me personally as my eye brows are black.



And as with other beauty boxes you get the information bit! Although no prices mentioned about full size products.



All in all im impressed with my first Carmine box and am looking forward to my December box already.x
